The Campus Sport programme is a recreational programme designed around fun, fitness and social engagement. All sport takes place on campus with like-minded people in a friendly, non-competitive environment.
There are many opportunities for students to get involved in the Campus Sport programme, with a range of different sports and formats on offer throughout term time. You can also apply onto our Refereeing Development Programme and help officiate our recreational football and netball leagues. For more information, or to request an application form, please contact:
Sarah Humphreys on 0113 812 4851 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

We are pleased to introduce our newest addition to the Campus Sport Programme, Women’s Football, which will take place every Monday evening between 6pm -7pm on the MUGA pitch at Headingley Campus, starting on Monday 30th January. Initially these will be turn up and play sessions, with scope to develop into a 5-a-side league if there is enough interest.
If you would like to join in the sessions, please contact Annette Stride, A.Stride@leedsbeckett.ac.uk. The session is free to anyone with a sports membership or £4/4.50 on a turn up and play basis.
Here at Leeds Beckett University, we pride ourselves in having an excellent racket sports programme. Over the last three years, racket sport development at the University has grown thanks to initial Sport England funding, with taster sessions, leagues and events all taking place throughout the year in squash, racketball, tennis, table tennis and badminton. So whether you want to improve your game with coaching sessions, or take part in our day-long Rackethons for charity, there is something for everyone! You don’t even need to bring your own racket! For more information, please contact: Kirsty McPhee, Sports Development Officer, on 0113 812 3737, or at firstname.lastname@example.org
USA Sports Programme
Thanks to Sport England funding, Leeds Beckett is able to provide students with a varied multi-sport programme of American-style sports on a recreational basis, in order to increase participation across seven non-mainstream sports. The sports on offer include: American Football, Baseball/Softball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Dodgeball, Lacrosse and Ultimate Frisbee. For more information about the USA Sports Programme, please contact: Dale Bottomley, Sports Development Officer, on D.Bottomley@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
