Course Overview

The Young People and Adults' Certificate is designed to develop candidates' coaching skills and knowledge base, allowing them to deliver the game of cricket to developing players in a fun and enjoyable way. This qualification allows coaches to work independently with clubs or schools.

This course is open to coaches who are going to coach young people and adults in ‘open age’ cricket. They may be new coaches, existing UKCC Level 1 or children's coaches who wish to access young person and adult specific content.

Coaching young people and adults is a challenging and enormously rewarding role within the coaching pathway. Players need expertise, support and passion at every level of their development; this course is designed with your players' needs at its core.

In turn, the experiences, tasks, practices and sharing of ideas which you experience during the course are design to help equip you with the tools you need to meet your players' needs. Just as players learn quickly, so do coaches. The challenge for all coaches is to learn as they develop, just as players do.
