Junior Basketball

Overview

“Bounce into Basketball” and "New Heights" sessions are an opportunity for new and existing players to learn the game with our Professional Coaches.

The first part of the session will focus on skill development, introducing basic techniques through fun activities. The second half will be a competition format, where all the children will be split off into teams and play matches.

The “Arena” (The Arena, Carnegie Sports Centre, Church Wood Avenue (LS6 3QS) at Leeds Beckett University this is a purpose built Basketball Facility and is the home of the University men's & women's teams and the City of Leeds Basketball Foundation, which has 12 National League Junior Teams for boys and girls aged 11 - 18.

Sessions are run on a Saturday morning:

9am - 10.30am - 5 - 11 years "Bounce into Basketball" (£5 per session) 

10:30am – 12:00pm – 12-16 years "New Heights" (£5 per session)

Pay as you play sessions with membership options available. 

Additional Community "Bounce" sessions take place within various schools during term time.

 There are also full day Community and Performance Camps run throughout the year during school holidays.
