Adam Cartwright

About Adam Cartwright

Adam is a Registered Dietitian and works alongside colleagues in the Nutrition and Dietetics Group. He completed his first degree in Physiology and Nutrition at the University of Southampton. Following this, Adam undertook the Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics at Leeds Metropolitan University (now Leeds Beckett University) and subsequently completed his MSc in Dietetics.

Prior to being appointed as a Senior Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University in 2016, Adam worked as a Dietitian at a number of different NHS Trusts across the country. Specialising predominately in the dietetic management of cardiovascular disease, diabetes and stroke, Adam also has significant experience of developing hospital catering services.

Adam has teaching commitments on both the undergraduate and postgraduate course provided by the group.

    • Professional Development for Dietitians (Postgraduate Diploma in Dietetics)

Research Interests

Adam will be undertaking a PhD as part of his role at Leeds Beckett University.
