About Emma Heslington
Emma Heslington is a Research Assistant at ICRETH. She has a First Class Honours degree in Events Management from our University.
Whilst at University, Emma was part of the team who won the MPI Young Achiever's Award in 2011 and at IMEX that year she was awarded a place at the IMEX/MPI Future Leader's Forum. In 2010 she spent five weeks in India volunteering on a number of projects whilst based at the Leeds Beckett campus in Bhopal.
Emma has worked with numerous event and community based organisations including Benchmark Communications who specialise in business events. She has supported MPI research projects such as the Future of Meetings, Global CSR and Economic Impact studies. Emma conducted her own research on the motivation of volunteers in events for her degree dissertation. She is particularly skilled in research, full delegate management, office management, marketing and client liaison.
