About Jenny Share
Born in the West Midlands, Jenny came to Leeds as a student in 1985, studied for a BSc degree in Maths and Music at the University of Leeds and went on to secure a postgraduate qualification in Information Administration from our predecessor institution, Leeds Polytechnic.
Jenny’s career has been entirely in higher education, progressing through the ranks first of all in departmental and central roles at the University of Leeds. Jenny was appointed Academic Registrar at Leeds Trinity University in Horsforth in 1998 became Assistant Principal soon afterwards and Vice Principal in 2008, leading the securing of taught degree awarding powers for the former college.
Jenny joined the senior team of Leeds Beckett University in November 2012 as Secretary and Registrar and has successfully steered the University to gain the Customer Service Excellence standard. Her main responsibilities include working with the governing body, company secretary, deliberative structures, legal matters, planning and continuous improvement, student registrations, exams, timetabling, awards and fees, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) compliance and student union liaison.
