Learning new academic skills is a crucial part of your experience here at Leeds Beckett University. Applying new skills will encourage you to become a more efficient learner and will give you confidence to participate fully in your course material.

This section will help you to understand, identify, develop and refine the academic skills you need. These are valuable skills you’ll have for life and building on the foundation you already have will help you to be better organised and ready to tackle whatever challenges you face, both at university and in your career beyond.

Your library

A big part of university life is independent study, and you’ll find our two libraries at Leeds Beckett University invaluable in providing the resources and space for you to research, read and write whilst studying here.
