Campus Card

Your Campus Card is your key to accessing many services and facilities on campus.

Your Campus card is really important. You’ll need it to:

  • Borrow a book
  • Access the Sheila Silver Library at City Campus 24/7 and Headingley Library 19:00-08:30
  • Use the Sports Centre and gym facilities
  • Print and photocopy
  • Access some buildings
  • Prove your identity for examinations & collecting work

Your Campus Card can be collected from the Student Experience team at either Student Hubs (Rose Bowl, City Campus or Campus Central, Headingley). You will need to bring along some identification such as a passport or driving licence.

New logo, new campus card

From September 2018, the University introduced a new logo and brand. As a result, the design of your student card has been refreshed. You can now visit the Student Experience team in either Student Hubs to have a new look card printed. The cards will be printed at no extra cost to you and there is no need for a new photo to be taken. Even if you have lost your card, you can still present at the Student Hubs, and have a new card printed free of charge*.

What to do if you lose your campus card

If your card has been stolen, and you have reported the theft to the police, you can get a replacement card free-of-charge from the Student Hub by giving your crime number.

If your card is faulty (for example, it will not allow you to take books out of the library) then you should take it to the Help & Information Point in the library and you will be given a slip of paper which will enable you to get a replacement free-of-charge from the Student Hub.

If you lose or damage your card, you are currently able to acquire a new one from either Student Hub free of charge*

*Please be aware, after Thursday 3 January 2019, if you lose your Campus card, you will be required to pay £10 for a replacement. Details of how to do this will be available after this date.
