The Student Complaints Procedure gives students a formal means of raising concerns and complaints where other opportunities or processes are not appropriate.
The Governance and Legal Services team are responsible for managing student complaints and provides advice to staff and students on the complaints procedure.
The procedure gives the university an additional means through which it can identify and act on shortcomings in its services and practices and prevent the recurrence of the complaint.

How do I submit a complaint?
We are committed to providing our students with educational and support services of the highest quality but recognise at times you may encounter problems. If you do, our Casework team can help you address any issues as soon as possible, in a thorough, transparent and impartial manner.

Students’ Unions Advice Service
We would also recommend speaking to your Students’ Unions Advice Service who can provide impartial advice and guidance on any issues you may face, including making informal and formal complaints.
