Wireless

Leeds Beckett University offers a robust wireless service to our staff, students and visitors. This page contains information on how different types of users can get connected to Wi-Fi at our University.

The University offers two Wi-Fi services - eduroam and Visitor Wi-Fi. All staff and students should use eduroam as this is a significantly better service. A connection can be established by entering your Leeds Beckett credentials, as outlined in detail in the appropriate user guides below.

If you need help:

Students can get help connecting to the Wi-Fi from the library team. You can find them in the Help and Information points at both the Sheila Silver and Headingley Campus libraries.

Staff can get help from the Staff IT Service Desks which can also be found at both the Sheila Silver and Headingley Campus libraries.

Forget The Visitor Wi-Fi

When you are switching from Visitor Wi-Fi to eduroam on your wireless devices you need to make sure you "forget" the Visitor Wi-Fi in your device's wireless menu. If you do not, it may not automatically connect to eduroam when you are on campus.
