A mid-sized Tesco Express can be found at the base of Central Village halls, just next to City Campus, and during the day, essentials can be picked up from Intermissions just inside Broadcasting Place at the base of the site. Broadcasting Tower is also a short walk away from a large Morrisons in the Merrion Centre and is very conveniently located to explore the City centre.
Located just on the edge of the city centre, Broadcasting Tower is a beacon at the heart of student culture. It’s only several minutes’ walk away from three of the city’s major music venues (the Arena, O2 Academy and Leeds Beckett University Union) and puts you right in the middle of the thriving club scene.
If you’re an avid shopper then Leeds city centre has everything from high street favourites to unique boutiques and proud independents. It’s crammed with great restaurants and incredible bars and pubs to suit all tastes. Major retailers such as Topshop, Hollister, Victoria’s Secret and Primark can all be found in Trinity Leeds, which also includes Trinity Kitchen, where you will find a rotating selection of street food vans, a cinema and a number of bars and restaurants.
