Studying Accounting & Finance

"Studying accounting and finance was always something I wanted to do. I found from a young age that when I went into a shop that I was fascinated by the inner workings of the business, and when I worked in retail jobs as a teenager I started to become more fascinated by the accounting side of businesses. Studying to become an accountant and following that career path was always my preferred option.

"Coming from nearby, choosing to study in Leeds was the best option for me. The course is also ideal and I already know that it will help to give me the best opportunities to succeed in the future.

"Moving out of my family home has helped me to gain more confidence, stepping out of my comfort zone and forcing me to be independent.
