The legal practice course at Leeds Beckett University is aimed at what's actually going to happen in practice- what skills you're going to need in the legal profession in terms of advocacy, in terms of legal analysis, rather than the technical academic issues of Law which is much more practical.

There are several things within the legal practice course that I still do day in, day out not least when you're faced with say a new client for example, the first time I ever learnt how to deal with the first interview's with a client was at Leeds Met on the Legal Practise Course and those are the kind of skills that you pick up. Obviously you then practice and perfect in the office, but the course here at Leeds Met really giving you the basis.

The staff always kept it interesting and were always available to have a chat with if you had any queries or concerns.

I thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed both courses at Leeds Met and I'm very fond of the city and I managed to get my training contract here as well and have no intentions of going anywhere else.
