What have been the highlights of your degree?

For me, the Marx and Marxism module was an absolute highlight of my degree, as we delved quite deep into theory. While it may sound complex as a module, it was taught exceptionally well and discussions in seminars were particularly interesting.

What's next for you?

I will soon be starting a new job at Leeds University Union as a Development and Engagement Coordinator, where I will be working with students to help them develop society events and activities. My politics degree has prepared me for this, as I will often be working with political societies. The skills I have gained give me confidence for starting this new job.

What has been the most rewarding aspect of your degree?

By far the most rewarding part of my degree has been my dissertation. I found the processes of researching the topic, putting it together and then writing it to be very rewarding.
