The Library over the Easter break
The current Leeds Beckett University term finishes on Friday 23rd March for the Easter vacation and the new term starts on Monday 9th April. We’re sure everyone is ready for a well-earned break to recharge their batteries, or to have some time to catch up with university work.
Unlike the Christmas vacation, the Library recall system will continue to operate over the Easter period. This means that, if you have Library items on loan, it’s a good idea to check your student email at times over the break. If another person requests one of the books you have on loan, you will receive an email to your student email, asking you to return the item and giving you a due date. Offsite students generally have two weeks to return items which have been recalled. After this date, overdue fines are charged. You will still be able to post items back to the Library – please see the Offsite webpages for our address details.
If you want to visit the Library in person, you can do so at any time, 24/7, but please remember to bring your Leeds Beckett card with you. If you are visiting the Library and would like help from staff, please see our staffed hours over the vacation. If you haven’t received your Leeds Beckett card, please email email@example.com.
You can also visit other university libraries nearer to your home through the Sconul Access scheme.
And, of course, you can always contact the Library 24/7 and we’ll do our very best to help you.
However you plan to spend your vacation, we hope you all have a great time!
