Looking ahead to the Christmas period……
As an Offsite student, will you be needing books over the Christmas period? As we build up to the end of term, please see below for some news on how auto renewals and loans will work over Christmas.
Term finishes on Friday 14th December. For any students wishing to visit the Library in person, the Library remains open 24/7 (self-service) throughout the Christmas period – please remember you must have your Leeds Beckett card with you to access the Library.
Your Library items will continue to auto-renew.
Recall emails to your student email asking you to return a borrowed item will not be sent after 13th December until 3rd January. This means that you won’t be asked to return items between these dates.
You can continue to place reservations through the Library catalogue as normal, and if the book is on the shelves, we will send it out to you. The last day for posting out Library items is Thursday 20th December. Please remember that national postal services are always exceptionally busy at this time of year and because of this, items may take slightly longer to be delivered.
The Library’s telephone and online chat services will continue to operate over the vacation, apart from two short periods for phone calls, when voicemails will advise callers.
