Working at a distance throughout the summer?
Working from home
Please note MyBeckett will be unavailable to all students and staff from 17:00, 2 August until 17:00 6 August 2019, due to its annual upgrade. Apologies for any inconvenience caused by these essential works. This upgrade will enable future enhancements to be made more regularly while MyBeckett remains live and available for you to use.
You can also visit other university libraries via the SCONUL Access Scheme.
Any item that you still have on loan will continue to renew every week unless another student reserves it, or it reaches the maximum number of renewals. We’ll email your University email account if we need you to return your books, so please remember to check it regularly. You’ll then have 14 days to return a postal loan item.
If you’re graduating this year you need to return your books by 30 June. You also lose access to your university accounts by 30 September – see our Graduating Soon blog post for more information.
Are you a distance learner but live locally?
If you are a distance learner but visit the Libraries, please see the following information:
Due to essential electrical work, both Libraries will have to close for a short period over the weekend of 24 and 25 August 2019. We will post additional information about the closures as soon as possible.
Remember to have your Campus Card to enter Sheila Silver Library during the day and both Libraries overnight.
We’d love to hear from you!
