We hope you’ve all had a fantastic summer, including a great Bank Holiday weekend, and that you’re now gearing up for the new term ahead.
Welcome to Semester One of the 2016/17 academic year, which started this week. The Offsite team has already been contacted by lots of distance learners, both those beginning their studies just now, and those returning after the summer break. It’s great to hear from all of you.
Is your course continuing over the summer? Do you still have to work on assignments whilst everyone else seems to be heading off to some sunny beach somewhere? Fret not, at Leeds Beckett Library, it’s business as usual over the vacation.
The feedback of all students not least distance learners is really important to the university, and so we’d like to invite you all to complete the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey.
Even though it was snowing in Leeds this morning, spring is definitely in the air – the daffodils are blooming and that means it’s not long to the Easter vacation.
We’re all busy people these days with a thousand and one things to think about.
I know that some of you come to Leeds as part of your course and that others conduct all of your studies remotely. If you ever get the chance to come to the city, please do come and say hello to the Offsite team, we are always keen to meet our students in person! We are based in room 405 in the Sheila Silver City Campus Library.
It is really important that you check your student email account on a regular basis as this is how the university will communicate with you. This is because your student email address is secure and doesn’t change, please see the library website for further information on how to access your student emails.
