Did you know that you can visit other university libraries closer to home? SCONUL Access is a reciprocal scheme that allows students to borrow from most higher education libraries in the UK and Ireland. For full-time undergraduate students this is for reference only.
We upgrade to a new version of MyBeckett every year to make sure it’s in the best shape possible to support you. But, we need time to complete the upgrade and to test the system and functionality so that MyBeckett is in full working order when it comes back online. The upgrade is carried out over the Summer to minimise disruption during the teaching year - this years upgrade means it should never need to be down for future maintenance!
The Library remains open 24/7 to support you.

From 15 December 2017 you will no longer be able to access the archived copy of your Gmail account. This is because in September 2017 the University introduced new Microsoft student email accounts for all students.
Check out the Art Therapy subject page for relevant resources, information, help and guides.
Hello everyone. We hope you are settling in OK. These first few weeks really fly by!
Every year we have to implement Library closures in order to carry out essential electrical maintenance on some of our University buildings. This year the work is taking place over two Sundays in August.
Hello to all distance learning students, come and join us on the Leeds Beckett Distance Learning Community.

A new Accessibility page has been added to the eBooks guide on the Library website.
We’re pleased to announce an extra day of opening to our libraries this year, whether you are on or off campus we make as many of our library services and resources available to access 24/7.
Welcome to the Offsite team, you can find us here.
We have a new member of the Offsite team! Lesley has joined us from Sunderland University Library Services where she worked for ten years and has lots of experience supporting Distance Learners.
Now is the time of year that many of you will be writing your first assignments so this is a good opportunity for us wish you all the best of luck and to remind you that you are not alone and that we are here to help!
Have we sent you information about registering with Offsite? Why not go ahead and register with us – once you’re logged in to MyBeckett, you’re only 2 clicks away from the simple registration form (Library tab, then Register for Offsite). We’ll respond to your student email within two working days, and usually it’s much, much sooner!
It is really important that you check your student email account on a regular basis as this is how the university will communicate with you. This is because your student email address is secure and doesn’t change, please see the library website for further information on how to access your student emails.
