Your dissertation – you can do it!!

There are several steps to producing a great dissertation, from finding information and organising your research, to developing your academic writing skills. It can sometimes seem a bit daunting when you’re just starting out on your dissertation, especially if you’re learning at a distance. Worry not! Library staff are here to help you.

Putting pen to paper: help with academic skills

With deadlines looming, thinking about tackling your academic work, either for the first time or after a period away from academic study, can be quite daunting. Please don’t worry! The Library’s Skills for Learning team provide a range of support so that you can brush up on your academic skills and become confident handing in assignments.

Skills for Learning

We understand that many distance learners are also working alongside their studies and finding time to study can sometimes be a challenge.
