Celebrating Libraries Week
Libraries Week takes place 9-14 October and is a chance to showcase some of the amazing things that your Library offers.

- Your course has its own Academic Librarian who has created Subject Guides to direct you to key resources for your area
- Skills for Learning offers free workshops and tutorials in academic skills and are running a peer mentoring programme for new students
- We're open 24/7 every day of the year so you can study when it suits you best
- We have over 140,000 electronic resources for you to access on or off-campus, easily accessed via our Discover search engine
- You can chat to us or get IT Support over the phone 24/7 on 0113 812 1000
- You can easily check out the reading list for your module within MyBeckett
- Our YouTube channel provides lots of short tutorials to help you borrow, print and more
- If you forget your laptop you can borrow one from the self service lockers
- You can choose to study in a group or in silence or book a Student Meeting Room online
- Browse our current book displays on a wide range of topics or take a look at our Pinterest Boards for inspiration
And if you decide to take a break from studying why not listen to our latest Spotify playlist "The Great Library Songbook" full of library and literature related songs! Or come along to Leeds Beckett Book Club's meeting on Wednesday 11 October to discuss The Famished Road by Ben Okri.
