Just graduated? Planning to stay on for a postgrad course? The Library can help keep your study skills on track.
We know exam time can be very stressful but there are lots of ways the Library can help you to be as prepared as possible.
From silent study space to motivational playlists there's lots of help available from the Library to help you survive your exams.
Thank you for your feedback on the new look spaces on the ground floor of each library - we're glad you like them!
As well as lots of positive comments such as "better work environment" and "bright and open" you had some concerns and queries so we asked Kate Kluttz, Learning Spaces and Operations Manager, to respond.
The Library at Leeds Beckett provides lots of different spaces to help you work together on group assignments, study in silence and more. Find out about our recommended places as we celebrate National Libraries Week with its theme of "My Time. My Space. My Library".
Libraries Week takes place 9-14 October and is a chance to showcase some of the amazing things that your Library offers.
Our two University Libraries, Sheila Silver Library in the Leslie Silver Building at City Campus and Headingley Library in the James Graham Building at Headingley are open 24/7 365. They have different types of study space so you can choose to work in silence or in a group study area, or book a Student Meeting Room.
As always we've been busy over the summer improving our services to help you make the most out of studying in the Library.
Please note this programme is now closed for semester one 2017-18. If you need help with your academic skills please see the Skills for Learning website, attend one of the workshops or contact your Academic Librarian.
