Global Accessibility Awareness Day
Global Accessibility Awareness Day is on 21 May. Its purpose is to get everyone talking, thinking and learning about digital access and inclusion, and people with different disabilities.

Leading the way in Library disability support
Leeds Beckett Library aims to lead the way in providing disability support for our students and Disability History Month (22 November - 22 December) provides an ideal opportunity to look at the work we do.

Dyslexia Awareness Week 2019
This week is Dyslexia Awareness Week which runs from 7 to 13 October. The theme this year is empowering people with dyslexia. The Library has lots of resources and support available which aim to empower students with dyslexia to become independent learners and to succeed at University.

Global Engagement Week takes place from 19th – 23rd November in partnership with Leeds Beckett Students’ Union to promote opportunities and develop students who are globally engaged. The Library is committed to supporting this development and has a wide range of resources to aid students in “global engagement”.

National Libraries Week 2018! Find your favourite place to study
The Library at Leeds Beckett provides lots of different spaces to help you work together on group assignments, study in silence and more. Find out about our recommended places as we celebrate National Libraries Week with its theme of "My Time. My Space. My Library".
Beckett Books Extra Support Students with Dyslexia
Beckett Books Extra lets you recommend books, computer games, CDs and DVDs to add to Library stock and almost 1,000 new resources are now available as a result of student recommendations over the last 2 years.
