Revisiting the Engineering Without Borders Design Challenge Winners

In June, a team of Leeds Beckett University students won the Engineering for People Design Challenge Grand Prize for their concept of building a women’s’ community hub in Tamil Nadu, India, using locally sourced natural and affordable materials.

The team were recently invited to The Engineer magazine's 'Collaborate to Innovate' awards where Engineering Without Borders caught up with them on the lasting impact of their project.
