Events Management students organise glamorous end of year ball

Final year Events Management Students organised the School’s end of year ball to celebrate the journey they’d been on together during their time at Leeds Beckett University. As well as providing a great opportunity to have fun the ball gave the organising committee of students a great way to demonstrate their skills as events managers as they sourced the venue, sampled menus, costed the event, promoted it to fellow students as well as greeted everyone who bought tickets for this highly anticipated glamorous event. Highlights included a live performance and a glitter ticker tape drop as well as a fundraising raffle which raised over £300 to provide a scholarship to send a female to school in the Gambia in conjunction with the Institute of Travel and Tourism in The Gambia (ITTOG), as well as lots of dancing late into the night.
