Understanding event experiences
Two members of staff from the School’s UK Centre for Events Management have had their work published in a special issue of the Journal of Policy Research in Tourism, Leisure and Events.
The special issue brought together the work of international experts to explain how event experiences might be researched and evaluated.
Dr Katherine Dashper, working with Anne Buchmann from the University of Newcastle, Australia, contributed a paper entitled: Multispecies event experiences: introducing more-than-human perspectives to event studies.
Dr Jonathan Moss co-authored a paper with Peter Whalley and Ian Elsmore from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, entitled: Phenomenological psychology & descriptive experience sampling: a new approach to exploring music festival experience.
The publisher has made both articles available free of charge until the end of the year.
