The Future of Events
Dr Kate Dashper from the School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management is joining a round table event hosted by Positive Impact to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The session, hosted by Fiona Pelham and also featuring Miguel Naranjo, Programme Officer at UNFCCC Secretariat, will explore the role of women in achieving carbon targets. The roundtable supports Positive Impact’s Climate Action Framework for the Event Sector and takes place on Monday 8th March, 13.00-14.30 (GMT).

Professor Kate Dashper
Professor Kate Dashper is the Director of Research Degrees in the School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management. Her research applies a critical sociological lens to examine practices of work and leisure, particularly focusing on gender issues and interspecies encounters.
