Born in London, Enoch's foray into professional football was different to the norm. He completed a Bachelor’s degree, and was selected to come on trial at Luton Town less than a week later. Playing from July 2003 to Feb 2004, he signed his first professional contract after scoring a hat trick against Brentford in a League One game.

After his first season as a professional player, Enoch represented Nigeria, the country of his parents' birth, in the Unity games against Ireland and Jamaica. He played a vital part in gaining promotion to the Championship with both Luton Town in 2005-2006 and in his first season at Bristol City in 2006-2007, becoming one of the team’s top goal scorers with 15 goals.

Enoch was named player of the month for League One in Feb 2004 and Jan 2007. He became player of the season at Tranmere in the 2010-2011  season as well as becoming the North West League One player of year.
