Inspiring Excellent Customer Service Conference Held at the Rose Bowl

Leeds Beckett University teams up with First Direct and Bettys and Taylors to deliver ‘Inspiring Excellent Customer Service’ conference for the Higher Education sector.
Leeds Beckett University is to hold an inaugural conference on ‘Inspiring Excellent Customer Service in the Higher Education Sector’ on Wednesday 10 June 2015.
The event aims to encourage debate around what the sector can learn from leaders in customer service in other industries and includes key note speaker Karen Walker, Customers Services Director at First Direct, who were recently voted top for ‘Customer Service’ in a Which? survey of the top 100 brands in the UK.
The one day event, which is already fully booked with 150 delegates, will take place at Well Met’s flagship venue The Rosebowl. Other speakers include Leeds Beckett University’s Vice Chancellor Susan Price on ‘The Strategic Importance of Customer Service,’ Jenny Share, Secretary and Registrar at the University, Mick Lynch a Customer Service Excellence Assessor on ‘why higher education should engage with the CSE standard,’ and Bekki Simpson, Training Manager at Betty’s.

The event will also include an exhibition and a collaborative performance session with Teresa Brayshaw, Principal Lecturer at Leeds Beckett University’s School of Film, Music and Performing Arts.
