Well Met Team Moves in 2019

Well Met, the conferencing office of Leeds Beckett University, begins 2019 with several moves across the team.

Well Met New Starters - L-R Sam Gee, Stevie Pitsika, Beth Pryor

Sam Gee takes a temporary step-up to Senior Conference and Executive as maternity cover.  Events Assistant, Beth Pryor, will make full use of her previous operational skills and she steps into the role of Conference and Events Executive and Rose Bowl’ Food Service Operative, Stevie Pitsika, goes front of house as Events Assistant at Cloth Hall Court.

Clare Vidler, conference manager at Well Met, said: “The team are settling into their new roles well and are maximising the opportunity of maternity cover to develop their own skills and experiences.

“Stretching into a new role helps to develop colleagues, but it also adds an extra dimension to the business, and they bring with them an exciting energy and new ideas.  It’s particularly rewarding to see the back of house team move into a front of house role, and it really helps their understanding of the business when they are client facing and dealing directly with customers.  I’m extremely proud of how they have all stepped up and we are enjoying the shared results of new experiences.”

The team will be working together to drive forward Well Met’s strategy for 2019 encouraging business partners to ‘keep it on campus’ for in-house events, developing agency relationships and supporting the local business community.
