Well Met Welcomes Leeds Couples to Exciting Wedding Fair at Headingley Venue
26 October 2016 - Well Met
Well Met Conferencing welcomed couples to their unique wedding fair yesterday, Sunday 23 October, which was held at Leeds Beckett University’s historic Headingley venue. The event saw the Edwardian-era James Graham building transformed into a beautifully elegant setting, providing inspiration for couples looking to wed in Leeds.
The fair, organised by Well Met’s Conferencing team, included an exhibition of local suppliers; from beautiful floral displays by Stems of Leeds, make-Up demonstrations from independent make-up artists Jenna Midgley and Rachel Marie, to Photobooth services by Yorkshire Booth Brothers and music by resident band The Metro Gnomes, the one-day event gave guests the opportunity to explore the wide range of options available all under one roof.
To encourage couples to book early Well Met are also offering the chance to have £1000 knocked off the cost of their wedding package, if booked by 16 December this year. The offer, valid for selected remaining dates in 2017, provides couples with the opportunity to save a significant amount whilst ensuring that their special day is organised by a dedicated team of expert planners.
Louise Perry, owner of Yorkshire based Louise Perry Bridal, came along to the event to display a selection of the exquisite designs along with providing brides-to-be advice on how to choose the dress, she comments:
“I really enjoy working with the team at Well Met and am honoured to be one of their specially selected suppliers. The event at Headingley is a great way for couples to get a feel of what their big day could look like and the amazing setting is a real hidden gem in Leeds. As a wedding dress supplier, I never tire of the challenge which is finding the perfect dress for each individual bride. It’s a once in a lifetime experience, and I’m always thrilled to be a part of that.”
Clare Vidler, Conference Manager for Well Met Conferencing commented:
“It’s exciting to see couples come through the doors of what they may only know as a University campus and be wowed by the transformation of the venue. Set in a secluded spot but still with excellent access to the City Centre, we’re ideally located in terms of transport and are fortunate to have links with a variety of quality driven local suppliers. We pride ourselves on having a team of dedicated conferencing experts, some of whom have a background in the wedding industry, who can plan a wedding from initial idea through to the bride’s arrival and help couples with every step of the process. We’re looking forward to welcoming couples in the New Year and seeing our beautiful venue in all of its splendour!”
