Discover more about #WECAN on our dedicated pages.

ILM Level 3 Accredited Unit Presentation Skills give you the opportunity to:

  • Improve your presentation skills
  • Develop confidence in giving presentations and briefing teams
  • Gain ILM accreditation

Please note this is not an ILM accredited qualification, it is a unit. Remember, our courses are fully funded and limited to one course per person.

This programme is led by #WECAN delivery leads Kim Sanderson and Amy Samouelle:

  • Kim has over 25 years’ experience of teaching in further education and prior to working at Leeds Beckett University, worked in retail and further education sectors leading and managing teams
  • Amy is passionate about delivering high quality, values led training. Since qualifying as a coach and experiencing its transformative impact on her practice, she is keen to support others with the development of communication and relational skills to have more impactful conversations. She previously worked in the Health and Care sector as a Quality Improvement Coach

They will guide you through three 2 hour workshops which will be delivered online via MS Teams. Workshops involve a mix of tutor input, practical activities, and small group work in break out rooms, giving you the opportunity to network with other women working in SMEs.

There will be activities to complete after each workshop in preparation for the next workshop or an assignment and you will be supported by Kim and Amy throughout the programme.

There is an induction to the ILM at the beginning. You will submit a portfolio of evidence that contains all your planning notes, PowerPoint slides, evaluation forms and reflection. Tutorial time is built into each session to enable you to work independently on your assignment.
