Choosing the correct application form
If you DO NOT work directly for Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, Leeds Community Healthcare Trust or Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust but your employer will be paying the course fee. Then please select 'self-funding' from the dropdown menu on the application form, this will allow you to input the payees details.
Please note that ALL cancellations must be made known 48 hours before the course commences. Non-attendance will result in you or your employer being charged the full course fee. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

This module will allow you to provide safe, competent and effective intravenous cannulations.
Module content includes:
- Basic anatomy and physiology
- Identifying a suitable vein
- Universal precautions
- Simulated practice
- Troubleshooting and complications
Everything you need to know
Confirmation of support from your line manager, access to a supervising practitioner with experience and competence in intravenous cannulation.
Tutor assessment throughout the session and in simulation. Students are provided with a competency profile to use as a framework within their practice to identify suitability to undertake intravenous cannulation.
