This is a new six hour workshop is developed by the LTA and its network for Coach Education Centres and tutors.
Carnegie Sports Centre, Headingley Campus, Leeds Beckett University
Our course is aimed at coaches who deliver Mini Tennis sessions and coaches who lead Mini Tennis Programmes. To book onto the course coaches must have an LTA Level 2 qualification or above.
The workshop trains coaches to deliver dynamic sessions by suggesting an easy to use session structure, a range of organisational formats and loads of ideas to keep kids active and engaged in their learning. In addition the workshops covers some ideas on technical and tactical development and competition.
Coaches attending the course will receive a resource pack which includes a new range of videos which bring the course content to life and six CPD credits.

All candidates must be Level 2 Coaching Assistants or above.
The course is very practical so please wear appropriate clothing.

Coach Development Centre
In September 2020 Carnegie Coach Education at Leeds Beckett University became an approved Coach Development Centre for the Lawn Tennis Association. CCE will be one of only 12 centres across the country who are permitted to deliver LTA accredited courses.
