Building your foundation in coaching

On this course you will cover three core modules:

• Understanding Good Practice in Coaching within an Organisational Context
  Consider the role and contribution of coaching in your workplace, enabling you to build a clear business case.

• Undertaking Coaching within an Organisational Context
  Demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver and review at least 6 hours of coaching in your workplace.

• Reflecting on Coaching Skills within an Organisational Context
  Critically review your own personal qualities, skills, and competence.

This course is led by David Taylor. For over twenty years David has been a professional coach with a portfolio of clients including owners and Managing Directors of SME’s as well as leaders working in larger organisations in the UK and beyond.

The programme is structured into three distinct stages:

1. Understanding coaching theories and processes
   2500-3000 word report
2. Practical coaching with one or two coaches
   Undertake 6 hours of practical coaching
3. Reflecting and reviewing your experience
   Reflective journal with a 6 month CPD plan

David will guide you through group workshops and individual tutorials online via MS Teams.

There are no formal academic entry requirements however, you should be prepared to commit to approximately 40 hours of individual study, in addition to the workshops and tutorials, and identify someone in the workplace you can coach.
