Taught at The UK Centre for Events Management (UKCEM), this course enjoys a global reputation for events management education, international research, and for supporting 25 years of successful alumni at home and overseas.

Specifically designed to prepare you for a successful career in the industry, you’ll gain hands-on knowledge of all aspects of planning and running events. 

As part of your course, you’ll:

  • Produce and stage live events – in purpose-built venues and at temporary locations
  • Plan the logistics of events – including support services and managing event security

You’ll gain vital knowledge of health, safety and risk, crowd behaviour and control, event security and protocols, research methods, stakeholder and relations management, and project and stage management. You’ll even pick up skills in computer aided design (CAD) for site planning. 

Finally, you’ll get to showcase all your theoretical knowledge in your final year technical major project.
