As part of your foundation year, you’ll:

  • Study four events, tourism and hospitality management related modules - these will introduce you to the subjects included on each of our routes, from tourism principles and practice to customer service experiences
  • Study two additional modules that will help you develop the academic and study skills needed to successfully transition from school or the workplace to higher education

As part of your course, you’ll:

  • Create and deliver a diverse range of events from conception through to evaluation
  • Learn to manage events staff and suppliers, as well as adhere to licensing requirements
  • Study complex and challenging issues within events management – including the operation of event organisations and their management, and how to plan events in a sustainable way

During your second, third and fourth years you’ll study an average of six modules each year.
