If you don’t have the required UCAS points to secure a place on the full degree programme, this integrated foundation year will enable you to transition onto our full BSc (Hons) Hospitality Management with Marketing course, preparing you for academic life at university.

As part of your foundation year, you’ll:

  • Study six events, tourism and hospitality management related modules - these will introduce you to the subjects included on each of our 10 routes, from events principles and practice to customer service experiences
  • Study two additional modules that will help you develop the academic and study skills needed to successfully transition from school or the workplace to higher education

As part of your course, you’ll:

  • Gain the knowledge and skills to think critically, be reflective and have the potential to transform and drive forward hospitality businesses through successful marketing practices
  • Put hospitality, business and marketing theory into practice with visits to local industry and the chance to work on live projects, such as creating branded social experiences, communication plans for hospitality businesses and by developing exceptional guest experiences

During your second, third and fourth years you’ll study an average of six modules each year.
