Carnegie School of Sport and Yorkshire County Cricket Masters by Research

The Carnegie School of Sport and Yorkshire County Cricket are delighted to offer two fully funded (fees only) Masters by Research (MRes) opportunities.

The MRes will be in the academic discipline of Sport Business Management within the Carnegie School of Sport.  These opportunities will work closely with our partner Yorkshire County Cricket Club, providing a dynamic research environment and offers a strong foundation for a range of professional, industrial, research and academic careers in Sport Business Management.

We welcome research proposals from outstanding candidates within the broader area of sport business, but ideally with an interest in research within the area of digital transformation, or interests within data science approaches to underpin commercially driven strategies.

Funding will consist of UK/EU full tuition fees for one year.

A laptop will be provided and office space (subject to LBU COVID19 arrangements for return to campus) and the opportunity to apply for funding to support the research project.

Applicants are required to apply against one of the following MRes Scholarship projects
