With urban areas expanding every day, sustainable development has never been more important. This course has been designed to help you tackle the housing, regeneration and management issues that face leading professionals in this field.
You will examine different interpretations of sustainable development, exploring neighbourhood planning and community engagement, providing you with the knowledge to plan and deliver your own programmes of urban management.
You will develop the leadership skills required to facilitate change, deliver local services and protect community assets. Our teaching team will use their industry experience to help you examine the theories behind leadership and management, explaining how they can be practically applied to social enterprise and public policy innovation.
Focusing on vocational training, our course enables you to engage with experienced members of the industry on client-based projects, enhancing your experience and expanding your network of contacts.
Our course is great way to work towards a masters qualification without disrupting your career. Combining practical training with only three fixed study hours per week, you can fit the rest of your self-guided study around your working day.
Many of the teaching team have worked in the industry and provide you with real-life examples from the workplace to support your theoretical learning.
