Plus Icon What if my calculated grades don’t meet the conditions of my offer?

We are confident teachers will be fair in their assessment and that the validation of results undertaken by examination bodies will result in a fair outcome for students. However, we also recognise this is an unprecedented situation and we will be as flexible as possible once we receive your grades. This means in many cases we will still be able to offer you your place.

A level results: Latest information for offer holders, applicants and clearing.

On 12 August 2020 the Department for Education announced a safety net for A-level and GCSE students in England. Students can now accept their calculated grade, appeal to receive a valid mock result or sit autumn exams. For further information visit the Department of Education.
