Information for colleagues
The return of students will be staggered over a number of weeks to minimise transmission risks beginning 4 January.
Students on most practical courses will be returning first to campus as outlined in timetables.
The remaining courses will be offered online from the beginning of term with a physical return to campus gradually from 25 January.
Yes, this may include students without appropriate alternative accommodation, facilities, studying space, or who need to return for health reasons.
In these circumstances, the university plans to welcome these students back on campus from their original start date but their courses should not resume face-to-face teaching, unless they study one of the practical courses defined above.
The Government has asked for students to be tested for Covid-19 before returning to campus. Further guidance on January testing will follow soon.
