- LBS Guest Lecture - What about the Balance? by Charlotte Valeur
We are proud to welcome the new Chair of the IoD, Charlotte Valeur, who will deliver the Institute’s annual lecture as part of our Leeds Business School Guest Lecture Series.
Appointed Chair in September 2018, Charlotte founded Board Apprentice, a not-for profit- organisation that provides individuals with hands-on experience at the very top of business and has been cited by Government as a resource for bringing about real change.
A corporate governance expert and keen advocate for diversity in the boardroom, Charlotte will give an insight on how organisations could grow by taking ‘on-board’ those from different background, and how a balanced structure can lead to a better functioning board and teams within businesses.
