carnegieXchange: Creating Active Schools: Lessons from Yorkshire to Norway
A carnegieXchange Seminar from the Carnegie Creating Active Schools Team (CCAST)
The Carnegie Creating Active Schools Team (CCAST) will co-present a seminar together with partners from the SEFAL centre at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences. There will be a carousel of presentations that showcase the work of the members of both research groups. The session will begin with a brief introduction to the new Carnegie Creating Active Schools Team and an overview of the recently developed Creating Active Schools Framework. This work was led by Leeds Beckett University and involved 50 regional, national and international researchers, practitioners and policymakers. Further presentations will focus on research and practice focussed on promoting physical activity in schools.
