This Black History Month Research Seminar will be presented by Christy Hyman, a PhD student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln in the USA.

This talk will explore the origin of the liberatory imagination that culminated in the production of knowledge exchange between abolitionist George D. Thompson and formerly enslaved mariner Moses Grandy.
