The day will be a chance to learn about the support available for disabled students, including further information on Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) and how to apply. Presentations and talks will include representatives from student wellbeing, student union and money advice teams. We will hear the experiences of disabled students currently studying at Leeds Beckett, and find out more about how to prepare for university education from a course director and study skills tutors. Throughout the day there will be the opportunity to ask questions and chat to various members of Student Services.
Our on-campus events will also include a campus tour and lunch will be provided.
Disability Advice is Leeds Beckett University’s dedicated student service to supporting disabled students through their university experience by ensuring they have fair and equal access to their education via a range of specialist support methods.
