PsyCen Seminar- Pre-registration and Registered Reports: Should I do this, and how?

A number of different solutions have been suggested to encourage better reproducibility and reliability of psychology and neuroscience studies. One such suggestion is preregistration and/or registered reports. In this approach, the hypotheses, methods and analysis plans are decided upon and fixed prior to data collection, using either preregistration tools such as the Open Science Framework, or formal registered reporting with a journal.
