accommodation for self-isolation
do I need to self-isolate?
If you arrive in England from anywhere outside the UK, Ireland, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man you will need to self-isolate for 10 days.
Accommodation for self-isolation
International arrivals from outside the UK will need to self-isolate for 10 days when you arrive in the UK. We will provide all new and returning students with free accommodation during this period, and the support you need to help you through this time. Please email our meet and greet team (meetgreet@leedsbeckett.ac.uk) with any questions you may have.
Self-isolation accommodation will be provided in our Halls of Residence, where you will isolate with up to five other students who also need to isolate for this period. The flats will be equipped with everything you need to cater for yourself including bedding. We will also help you buy food online for delivery to your flats. There will be options to buy bedding and extra kitchen equipment which you can take with you to your accommodation after isolation.
Am I eligible for self-isolation accommodation?
Free 10-day self-isolation accommodation is available to both new and returning students.
Student accommodation is not suitable for families with children. We would encourage families to go directly to your private accommodation upon arrival in the UK. Families are still welcome to book the airport meet and greet service, and will be provided with full support from our team throughout the 10-day isolation period.
Support during isolation: Our International Student Engagement Officers will be supporting you while you are in your isolation period with online events, welcome activities and a dedicated social programme to help you meet people and make friends online

Ordering groceries online
While you’re self-isolating, you will not be able to go to the grocery store. Most big supermarkets in Leeds offer an online delivery service. You will need a credit/debit card or PayPal account to order online. Please watch the video for an example of how to order groceries from Morrisons.com.
