Weekend trips with Don't be a Tourist

Find out about the many trips you can take to cities throughout the UK and Europe by coming along to this session hosted by the travel company, Don't be a Tourist.
Erasmus Exchange Induction
11am, Lecture Theatre F, Rose Bowl, City Campus
If you are an Erasmus student then this is a mandatory induction session.
International Exchange and Study Abroad Induction
1:30pm, Lecture Theatre F, Rose Bowl, City Campus
If you are a student from outside the EU on a Study Abroad Programme this is a mandatory induction session.
Campus Tours
2pm to 4pm, Meet at the Student Hub at Headingley and City Campus
Take a tour of our campuses including our library and fitness facilities.

Take a walking tour through our Library with one of our library staff. Find our where you can access resources and see all our different types of study spaces.
International Post Office
12pm to 2pm, Portland Building, City Campus
Write a postcard home and we will post it to you. You can also meet the guys from the Living Room - a free club for international students - and enjoy a traditional UK cream tea.
International Social Network - Meet a new buddy
4pm, Room 301 Broadcasting Place, City Campus
A great session for making new friends. Meet Kat, who runs the International Social Network, and her team of mentors and find out about getting involved with social activities to meet new people and make lifelong friends.
City Walking Tour
10am to 1pm, meet at the Rose Bowl Student Hub
See the city sights and find the best places to shop, eat and socialise on this walking tour with one of our Student Ambassadors

Come and find out what culture shock is and how it feels. This session is run by the International Students Club - a free club for international student in Leeds

Enjoy free food and entertainment and meet other students at our lively international welcome party

Visit Kirstall Abbey:
11am, Rose Bowl Car Park
Take a bus with our Student Ambassadors to the 12th-century abbey and also explore a local market. Remember to bring money for your bus fare. Find out more by emailing isn@leedsbeckett.ac.uk.
Free Trip to York
Coaches leave at 9am to 11am, location TBC
Visit the medieval city of York for the day and become immersed in the history of this Viking town.
