We have provided below the minimum qualifications you will require depending on which level of study you are interested in. Entry requirements do vary for each course, but the information here will give you a general guide.

As well as your academic qualifications we will also consider your personal statement and references. If you are studying A Levels or the International Baccalaureate, you can find these entry requirements on the course page in our Online Prospectus: courses.leedsbeckett.ac.uk

Entry requirements for China


Qualification: High School Diploma

Grade: Good

English language: IELTS 4.5 with no skill below 4.5

Plus Icon UNDERGRADUATE COURSES (year one entry)

Qualification: First year of a Bachelor Degree or a recognised Foundation programme

Grade: Pass

English language qualification: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5

Plus Icon UNDERGRADUATE COURSES (top up or final year)

Qualification:  3 Year Diploma or HND

Grade: High grades and relevant subjects can be considered for advanced entry 

English language qualification: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5


Qualification: Bachelor Degree (4 years)

Grade: 70% for 2:2 OR 75% for 2:1

English language qualification: IELTS 6.0 with no skill below 5.5
